Bombproof Shelter

I bought this as my first backpacking shelter 14 years ago. I brought it on The Long Trail, hundreds of miles on the AT, and dozens of shorter trips. I gave it to a friend to use for bikepacking with his son and it was heavily used. More than a decade later it was returned to me and it’s still good to go. I’ve never had a tarp or tarp tent last more than a few years because they see so much use, but this one is surprisingly extremely well made for the price. It’s outlived far more expensive tents and tarps that I’ve owned. I would 100% get another one.

10 Years Going Strong

I've had one of these shelters for 10 years and I've taken it all over the world. It accompanied me on my kids first backpacking trip this past weekend. It does fairly well in wet weather and you can't beat it for the weight A+
