The spring season kicks off a marathon of sorts for most outdoor brands that play in the summer hiking and backpacking markets. It’s at this time our in-season work of sales, retail staff education, events and outdoor activity really kicks off in the consumer’s eyes, but it’s also the time that next year’s product is being finalized, catalogs are being created, websites are being updated and the 3-6 month process of selling in 2013 goods really starts.

One of the most fun parts of this process is working with photographers and videographers to capture images and film of the new products in action to create captivating sales materials from our dealer workbooks to our website to videos used in presentations. So far this spring, we’ve hit the hills with Keith Ladzinski  and TrueHero Productions in Colorado Springs and Golden, CO. Check out the series of images below to give a glimpse into a day in the field with our team and some truly talented photographers.

  1. Sure wish my wife and I had Mountainsmith hats and logo stuff to wear on our trek to Peru. We already have MS packs and T-shirts.

    1. Thanks for the feedback Dan. We don’t have much in the way of promo items but we could certainly send you a stack of stickers. Just send us a self addressed, stamped envelope to:
      701 Pine Ridge Road
      Unit 3
      Golden, CO 80403

  2. Man, those guys at True Hero Productions have the best job in the world doing the outdoor thing. (envy!) AND, they do a kick as job of it while we’re stuck inside dark studios and edit rooms here on the East Coast. (sigh)

  3. John and Matt, I don’t even know where to begin. Gurvinder and I cannot stop prniisag about you guys to our family and friends. You are not only terrific videographers, but you are also amazing AMAZING people. You were so easy and fun to work with. I cannot beleive this was your first sikh wedding because you captured every key moment that completes a sikh wedding. I absolutely love the highlight video and the Henna video. Videography was one less thing to worry about out of the million things we had to worry about on our wedding because we completely trusted you on capturing the biggest event of our lives. Thank you thank you thank you so much. PS: I cannot thank you enough for putting together such a lovely bollywood lovestory video for us, our children and future generations to admire. It was a superhit at our Reception.
