Seems as good as my last MountainSmith

The Mayhem 45 seems to be as solid as my Centennial 30. As an avid day hiker (2-3 times per week), I put my pack through a lot of wear and tear. The White Mountains in winter require that i strap on snowshoes and poles. The Mayhem does not have built in straps, like my 10 year old(?) Centennial 30 has, that can be purposed for securing snowshoes and poles but a set of small bungees seem to do the trick. The Mayhem's easy zip access to pack contents is a help for changing weather conditions and the larger waist belt is comfortable and has handy pockets. MountainSmith, please don't stop the serious hiking and climbing designs. My old Centennial 30 has proven your superior workmanship, materials, and design can support all my 7-10 mile trips in NH and ME. I look forward to my new Mayhem 45 stepping in and taking an even larger load. Hike safe everyone!

Great 45L Pack

This thing is great! Very conveniently designed with a nice pocket arrangement and features, it is very light and might be the best pack I've ever had in this price range! I abuse my gear and it has been very durable so far

Love the pack!

Took a while to get this pack since it kept selling out but it was well worth the wait. Lightweight but more than enough room for a solid day hike.

Good stuff.

Love Mountain Smith gear! Pack is wonderful. I have only one issue, there is no magnet for the water bladder mouthpiece. You either have to tuck it in somewhere or let it dangle.
