Well constructed, no structure at all, which makes it easy to pack. However, it is very comfortable to carry a water bottle and the bungee retention keeps it secure. It is large enough to hold everything I usually carry in my pockets and was perfect for a day around San Diego.

These straps are a huge improvement. I have them on a Day pack and they help support the weight in the pack very well, they breath well to keep you a little cooler and the small pockets are great for small items you need quick access too.

I bought this tent back in 2023 to use at the national Scout jamboree in West Virginia. Quite a bit of rain soggy ground conditions. No water in the tent at any point. On my cross country trip back to Arizona I stopped and it doesn't places and endured a couple of thunderstorms and some high wind events and the tent stood up well. I'm tall and it was easy to get in and out of the tent I did not have to crawl I could stoop down getting in and out and I could sit on a camp stool inside the tent with no problem. Had it set up with a backpacking cot and the small rug and the small table. Quite homey.

Was thrilled when you offered this item back in stock. Use these bags when traveling and have always enjoyed the way you can organize your food and other travel items. Bought this latest set for another family member to enjoy.

I bought this on a family trip to the Grand Canyon so that I would be able to keep some beer, wine and water cold. I have had other soft side coolers and was expecting anything great. I was wrong. I had put some beer and a bottle of wine in the cooler and some ice and had it the back of a car in 103 degree temperatures. We drove from sedona to Phoenix with a few stops along the way and when we got to where we were staying in Phoenix I got the cooler out of the trunk and was expecting to still have ice in the cooler. It has now become my new road trip cooler. .

I bought a Mountain Shade Tarp back in 2016. It has been awesome and has kept us dry on many trips. It's huge and will easily cover multiple hammocks side by side. And it's surprisingly light. My only complaint is that I seem to have lost mine somehow. Looked everywhere, can't find it. May need to buy another one, hahaha.

You literally just twist the pole to lock it in place. Not a ring clamp - there's no little plastic ring to tighten with two fingers. You just grab the bottom pole -- the pole itself -- and twist clockwise to tighten. Piece of cake. It stays put and does not slip. Trekking poles are new to me, but to me they feel light, sturdy, and easy to use. I needed something simple, no fuss, and this is it.

This pack (the Zerk 40) checks all the boxes! It's lighter and comfier than my more expensive 40L dyneema pack. And it's so much quieter! Lately the loud crinkling noise of dyneema has really been getting on my nerves. The Zerk is much better for stealth camping and just generally not making a ton of noise around camp. My minifly tarp, stake bag, and 15 ft hammock straps all fit easily in the generously sized mesh outer pocket, and the mesh - like everything on this pack - is nice and strong, no worries at all about tearing. The icing on the cake is the chest strap pockets. There's a double pocket on each strap, so 4 pockets total. Again, generously sized. My smart phone (3 1/8" x 6 3/8" with protective case) slides easliy into any one of the 4 pockets, with no effort at all. I can put my phone in the inner pocket and still fit a pair of reading glasses in the outer pocket on the same strap. A small plastic water bottle (16.9 oz) will fit in a chest pocket, with minimal effort and stretching. The daisy chain loops are genius and make it super easy to clip quick-access items to the outside of the pack with a carabiner, like cordage, a headlamp, or a small knife. The roll top is quick and easy to close. You can clip the two ends together, one quick snap. Or you can clip them to the sides and cinch it down. There's a top strap if you want to strap down a foam sleeping pad. This just might be the perfect pack!!

Durable bag. Big zippers.

Inexpensive and worked well

We have not had a chance to use them yet, but the new cube design is beefed up and our last cubies lasted at least 10 years of use, abuse and 1 chipmunk.
Fast efficient and easy
I’ve been using Mountainsmith products for over 25 years and their products never Disappoint

Perfect Grab n Go bag that can be worn on the waist or bandoleer style cross chest
I already own the smaller one and it works great just that I needed more space when biking. Carries all my essentials in the separate compartments

The bag is perfect. And nicely styled. I highly recommend it. I am thinking of getting the large size as well.

May very well be the best value in a large capacity backpack available anywhere right now. Thank you Mountainsmith
