The four sections of sturdy 7075 aluminum collapse down to 16” for easier portability and storage. The sections lock into place with ease and the Outerlock (OLS) system allows for quick and secure height adjustment. The molded cork and EVA handles and soft wrist straps help eliminate hot spots and pressure points. These rugged poles also come with removable hiking and snow baskets (lock pin style) and replaceable rubber boot tips. Now with replaceable carbide tips.

So far I've taken them from the slopes of Alaska to the ridges of Hawaii, and they've been great. A little more weight than most sets, but if you're going to travel with them they're perfect.
