I have over 3,000 miles on my previous gen Andesite poles. One of the lightest on the market, these poles rock! Two piece design is better. Less weight, less adjustments. I only collapse my poles when in town. No need for 3 sections. The 18mm wide carbon is strong and sturdy. Keep replacing tips, and these will last a very long time. Most hikers are shocked when I hand one to them. They cannot believe how light they are. That lightless allows for faster, and therefore safer movement. Twist lock is far better than cam locks in my opinion. And Mountainsmith has THE BEST customer service I have ever experienced from any company ever! Forever customer here.

Awesome, lightweight 3 season tent for car camping with the family. Very light and waterproof and great quality. My campsite is now up to four of these!

So many pockets! The pack is very comfortable to ride and hike with. I’m not a fan of hip belts when riding, but this one works great; it positions the pack weight where it needs to be. I forget I’m wearing it. Each element of the pack was very well thought out.

I cannot say enough on how much I love Mountainsmith products and their customer service. I purchased these poles a few years ago and as a Colorado hiker they have gotten so much use. I have not had a single issue with them until this year (a small piece internally broke) and I contacted their team. They were not only very responsive, but fixed my pole free of charge. You can tell they care about their products and want them to be used and loved for as long as possible. It was such a positive experience that I cannot wait to purchase future gear from them.
Outside of their customer service, they poles themselves are very durable. They are also perfect size to travel with and love that they can be shortened down to put into your packs. I could not recommend this company or this product more.

It is a replacement for the Mt Smith pack my husband has had for 25 years or more. It was still intact But just looked a bit worn. He took out the handy little foam pad to use with the new one.

amazing room for multiple burritos and the correct amount of water to be lugging on your back while pushing pedals around the map. love the securness (its a word now) of the three clip straps, the depth of the shoulder strap pockets going vertically down the torso and how handy the flank pockets are at the bottom of the shoulder straps. The magnet to hold the water hose is a complete game changer. no more fighting with the ridiculous clip that played a part in my last wreck. I cannot recommend this backpack enough for getting out there!!!
It was easy to select and order the product I wanted which is a replacement for the Mountainsmith pack I had for years until I wore it out. I wish you sold this one at sports stores like REI and Dick's, then I could have tried it on and not had to have it shipped. You had other products at those stores, but not this one. I will always use your products.I prefer them over other brands.
Great service and great products!

Most comfortable backpack for all rides!

The Sixer is my go-to cooler for daily use. I own both Evo color options—one stays in my truck, the other in my car. They're so reliable that I'm planning to grab two more for my side-by-side and new car. Highly recommend!

As a delivery driver with 15 years of experience, I've tried numerous coolers for my lunch box. The Cooler Cube stands out as the best. It keeps ice intact all day and even into the next morning. Lightweight and unbeatable for the price, it's a fantastic choice.

I was skeptical that the medium would be big enough for my long tallish mutt, but I followed the size chart. It fit him really well! I am so happy with all the adjustment points (far better than his last pack). He happily carried all his own food, treats, toys and even a blanket on our last trip! Now we both wear Mountainsmith packs!
A great store to purchase from. With fast service, providing great products.

These are fantastic poles. I have put many miles on them with heavy packs in steep rough terrain. For all the negative comments I have not endured/experienced any. If you do not tighten the extensions enough, yes they will slip. Sooo tighten them so they don’t. The strength is great with the lower section being aluminum gives it protection against scapes and sharp edges of rocks. The lower aluminum is light and the upper carbon fiber is lighter so together you get the best of both worlds. The gripping system and choice of materials, again, are a great mix for the best of both worlds. I would recommend these to anyone that is not a nit picker and just wants a robust comfortable pole that is useful and functional in every way. And as a note the yellow highlights ensure you see them as you do that last look around camp. Of course, at your first descend/ascend you will also remember!

I purchased this pack for my mountain dog three years ago. It was the only pack that my pup put on without acting dejected and irritated. She immediately acted like it was no big deal. She carries 2x .5L water bottles, 6x servings of food, treats with room to spare. Zero chafing or hot spots. My only suggestion is to offer this pack in an earth tone or multicam for the people out there that don't want to wear safety colours all the time. I dyed Lula's pack and then painted a flectarn pattern on the bags with fabric paint. Bye-Bye warranty but it looks great.
