Order extra tips

The walking sticks are strong, light, and easy to stow. However, the rubber tips got chewed up quickly.

Lightweight with comfy handles

I got to use these poles for the first time on Saturday, 18mi, 4300' climbing. I like the feel of them, the foam grips are much better than the hard rubber ones on my old cheapo poles. However, i a little concerned that they may not be durable or strong enough for my use (mountain trails/off-trail) as i noticed one was slightly bent about halfway through the hike. It's very possible that the bending occurred when i used one of the poles to toss a timber rattlesnake from the trail safely. (Is that covered by warranty???) Fortunately it seemed to straighten out easily, but i haven't tried to collapse the poles since then, which can be a problem when any of the aluminum tubes are misshapen. I'll update this after I've gone a few hundred miles or if they fail before that.

Sturdy and lightweight

These are adjusted by twisting and locking; they don't have the little quick-adjust clips. This makes them a tiny bit trickier to set up the first time, but also far less likely to work themselves loose and suddenly telescope on you! These are my favorites. They're great poles at a very good price.
