This handy shoulder harness converts our Day, Tour, Tour SM into shoulder carry packs. Strapettes will prove to bea great addition when carrying those hefty loads. Expect to comfortably carry an extra 10-15 lbs. in our specified lumbar packs or just use asadditional ergonomic comfort and stability for standard loads.

I bought a pair of Strapettes years ago and tried them out once, then they just sat in a box for long forgotten reasons.
I just pulled them out and took them on a trip to India. The made a huge difference comfort when my Day lumbar pack was just a bit on the heavy side. They come along from now on

The tour pack is working out fine for my long walks, but it needed a little help.
The strapettes are just the ticket. 👍🏻
I have a “spare tire” which tends to push the pack down and cinching it tighter gets uncomfortable. The included shoulder strap is great when the pack is used as a shoulder utility bag, but not entirely useful for redistributing weight when worn around the waist.
Strapettes to the rescue, and unlike a backpack, they do not trap heat across your back. A win-win.

Perfect solution
I bought the strapettes because I needed more support for the load I was carrying in my lumbar pack, and they were the perfect solution. Great idea.

the strapettes are a great add on if your pack is saging and need more support. wish mountainsmith would just include it in the costs of their fany packs. because they are needed if you put anything of weigh in the pack such as water bottles !
